International double in Concerts L

Harpist and Gaitan on stage at Estalagem da Ponta do Sol

On August 1st, a Wednesday, the L Concertos have two names on stage. This duo consists of Edmar Castaneda, the most celebrated harpist in the world, and Gregoire Maret, a Grammy winner, a recognized harmonica player among the great names of international music.

Edmar Castaneda, a native of Columbia, conquered the audience in the harp, with its rhythmic complexity. Although he excels in the world of jazz, he is a versatile artist who explores other genres, such as samba and Latin sounds.

He has already played on the stage with sublime artists like Sting, and has four albums already.

Gregoire Maret, who owns several awards in the world of jazz music, is part of the Herbie Hancock band. He has worked with world-famous artists such as Elton John and Prince.

This pair also has, in this concert, with the participation of singer Andrea Tierra.
