Falling in love in Cuba

MSC Cruises highlights the Caribbean as a possible honeymoon destination.

MSC Cruises highlights Cuba as a prime destination for newly-weds.

Between November 2016 and March 2017, the MSC Armonia will have two different and culturally varied seven nights itineraries as well as a vast choice of destinations in Central America and the Caribbean islands.

Travellers can take advantage of special cruise packages and of the flight included in MSC Cruises. Departing from Lisbon on Tuesdays, flights are available with connections to the airport of Madeira, via Madrid, thanks to a partnership with AirEuropa.

Regarding itineraries, the first one comprises two days and one night in the Cuban capital, Havana, followed by a trip to Belize. Afterwards are the white sands and the coral reefs of Roatan Island, in the Honduras. Travellers can then enjoy Costa da Maia, in Mexico, and have a taste of the Caribbean beaches at Isla de la Juventud in Cuba, followed by the return to Havana.

The MSC Armonia’s second itinerary starts with two and a half days and two nights in Havana, giving passengers the chance to explore the city centre, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and discover its history, culture and architecture. The ship then goes to Montego Bay, in Jamaica, stopping at Georgetown, the beaches of the Caiman Islands and Cozumel, in the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula, allowing visitors to see some of the surviving Mayan ruins, before returning to the Cuban Capital.

Other than these destinations, the firm also offers an exceptional trip in which fiancées have a 10% discount on the applicable fares.
