The theatre group is bringing ‘Reflections’ to stage between the 6th and 8th of January.

In association with the Town Hall of Funchal, the Madeira Amateur Dramatic Society (MADS) is performing the ‘Reflections’ show at the Baltazar Das Municipal Theatre between the 6th and 8th of January.

This story gathers a group of musicians as they venture the past and play hits from the 60s. Among the songs to be brought to the stage are Coward, Novello, Romberg, Gershwin and Kern and will be left in the hands of Gerrie Van Der Klei, Diana Duarte, Ronald Douglas, Oliver Harris and Stephen Adams, with Malcolm Drummond playing the piano.

This theatre group has already performed Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Importance of being Ernest’ in 1993, ‘The Addams Family in Madeira’ directed by Eduardo Gaspar in 2003 and ‘Les Miserables’ directed by Ray Jeffrey in 2008, amongst others.

Tickets sell for 12 euros for the general audience and 10 euros for seniors, residents and students. Groups of 10 or more people are gifted a free ticket.
