To be held between July 12th and 14th in Parque de Santa Catarina, the Funchal Jazz Festival boasts a diversified offer featuring international and national names, all outstanding in the world jazz scene.
Considered one of the biggest events of its kind in the country, not only because of its size but also because of the quality of the invited artists, Funchal Jazz has already released its programme and it includes the likes of the Ricardo Toscano Quarteto, Jazzmeia Horn, Vijay Iyer Sextet, Jason Moran & The Bandwagon, among others.
There are 3 days dedicated to the musical genre born in New Orleans at the end of the 19th century, in a stage where António Sánchez, João Barradas, Maria João and Mário Laginha, Greg Osby and Joe Lovano will perform, among many other reputable artists.
