Between June 28th and July 2nd, Câmara de Lobos holds a festival.
The town of Câmara de Lobos holds a festival in honour of São Pedro. Following tradition, there will a parade followed by the usual fireworks show.
This year, the Town Hall of Câmara de Lobos will broadcast the Portuguese football team’s match live at 8 p.m. Then, at around 11 p.m. there’s a concert by GNR.
On Friday, July 1st, the downtown of Câmara de Lobos is bound to be packed for a concert by Portuguese singer and composer José Cid who will be playing some of his most iconic themes such as ‘Na cabana junto à praia’, ‘Como o macaco gosta de banana’ and ‘Cai neve em Nova York’.
The performer for the last day of the event, at 11 p.m., is Ricardo Pereira.
Every day, after the concert, entertainment continues with DJs such as Luís Gonçalves and Daniel Caires, among others.
Spread throughout the area of the event will be food and beverages stalls as is typical of Madeiran festivals.
