Madeira Island
Madeira Island is well known for its consistent weather, showing very little temperature variation all year round: on average, 20 degrees Celsius. The climate definition oscillates between subtropical dry and tempered mediterranean and its clear waters register an average temperature of 26 degrees Celsius in the Summer and 17 degrees in the Winter.
Porto Santo Island
Its 9 kms of golden sand, stable and dry climate and its 14 sun hours during the Summer are the reason for it being fondly known as "the Golden Island" by the Region inhabitants. During the Winter season, temperatures very seldom go below 17 degrees and are usually above 25 degrees in the Summertime.
