The Atlântica Quintet is set to play at the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre next Saturday.
Associação Notas e Sinfonias Atlânticas will host a concert by the ‘Atlântica Quintet’ ensemble next Saturday, July 9th, at the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre, at 6 p.m.
The Atlântida Wind Instruments Quintet comprises Pedro Camacho (flute), Louise Whipman (oboe), José Barros (clarinet), Manuel Balbino (bassoon) and Luís Sousa (tube), all of whom belong to the woodwind instruments group of the Madeira Classical Orchestra.
The group will take this chance to showcase their skills with these instruments by performing themes written by great composers and orchestrations of great pieces of music that, at one point or another, earned their place as references in the history of high music.
Tickets sell for 10 euros and can be bought at the box office of the Baltazar Dias municipal Theatre.
